Today, Governor Mike Kehoe announced four gubernatorial appointments to various boards and commissions.
Matthew Easley, of Tebbetts, was appointed to the Petroleum Storage Tank Insurance Fund.
Mr. Easley currently serves as an airport manager and building and site inspector for the City of Fulton, where he has worked for over a decade. He holds certification as a Missouri Class A/B Underground Storage Tank Operator. Easley is a graduate from South Callaway High School.
Sophia Geppert, of Kingdom City, was appointed to the Missouri Community Service Commission.
Ms. Geppert is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness management from the University of Missouri. She is involved in numerous organizations, including membership in the National and Missouri Junior Holstein Associations, Missouri 4H, Mizzou Collegiate Farm Bureau, the Mizzou College of Agriculture, Food, & Natural Resources Student Council, and the Missouri FFA Association, where she previously served as a state vice-president. Geppert is a graduate of North Callaway High School.
Melissa Flournoy-McGaw, of Kansas City, was appointed to the Missouri Family Trust Board of Trustees.
Ms. Flournoy-McGaw is currently the regional director of Supported Living and Employment Services dba Firefly. She previously served as the director of mental health services for the State of Missouri’s Vocational Rehabilitation Services. Flournoy-McGaw attended Park University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice before studying at Grand Canyon University, receiving a master’s degree in public administration.
Heidi Rich, of New Bloomfield, was appointed to the Missouri State Committee of Interpreters.
Ms. Rich has worked as a sign language interpreter for Columbia Interpreting Services for over two decades. She is a Missouri Interpreters Certification System master, and a licensed interpreter. Rich graduated from New Bloomfield RIII High School before attending William Woods University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in American Sign Language Interpretation.
